For its 12th edition, Production Value took place in Lecce, Apulia from 6 to 14 of January, 2018.

For the 2018 edition, 12 young professionals from 12 countries (out of 85 applications from 26 countries) were selected (7 women and 5 men):

6 European production companies brought their project to the 2018 edition of the workshop.
8 Producers and 5 Directors/Screenwriters joined the workshop for the last 2 days to discuss the results of the Juniors and the Seniors:

Production Value is the only master class workshop for Junior assistant directors and line producers in all over Europe. Its training process is innovative and unique and offers also an opportunity to producers and directors to have their film project scheduled and budgeted with a high level of expertise.



Production Value is a training initiative organized by FOCAL resource (Amsterdam) in coproduction with the Norwegian Film Institute (Oslo) the Swedish Film Institute (Stockholm), the Finnish Film Foundation (Helsinki) and FOCAL Switzerland (Lausanne), supported by Creative Europe, a program of the European Union, and a local partner, for the 2018 edition it was Apulia Film Commission (Bari, Lecce).
Swiss filmmaker Denis Rabaglia (2018: Norwegian Line Producer Kaare Storemyr) is Head of Studies and Hannah Lichtenstein is General Coordinator.
