After a successful completion at the Zurich Film Festival last September, where the seven selected producers pitched their projects in front of highprofile industry experts, FOCAL announces the second edition of Audience & Market Strategies for 2021.
Audience & Market Strategies is a 3-module programme designed for experienced producers wishing to increase their skills in marketing and national/international distribution. Through inspiring sessions and individual meetings with renowned international experts from the fields of platforms, festivals, distribution, international sales, marketing, PR and press/trades and marketing, the programme allows participants to expand their international network and to develop a full audience and market strategy. Producers apply with a feature film project with theatrical potential (fiction or documentary) at script stage.
During the workshop, participants are given very practical exercises on their individual projects and case studies. The aim of the workshop series is to work on a title, a synopsis, a list of key scenes for still photography, a moodboard for the artwork, a draft press kit, a P&A for the Swiss theatrical release, a marketing strategy, a festival and sales strategy and a sales pitch outline. The wrap-up of the Audience & Market Strategies programme will take place during the Zurich Film Festival with a final pitch and discussions with high-profile industry experts.
