Pitch
Training program based on shooting practice, focusing on creativity in the film pre-production process. Group and individual work is supervised by highly professional filmmakers.

EKRAN+ is a training program based on shooting practice, focusing on creativity in the film pre-production process, supervised by highly professional filmmakers.

Session 1: Is a visual warm-up and introduction to shooting practice. After group analysis of the treatment and two scenes to be shot during next two sessions, participants reflect on the visual presentations of their projects. They meet Casting Director and Art Director in order to prepare the shooting of the scenes for the 2nd session

Session 2: Focus is put on production of scenes from participants' projects with 2-3 actors (Polish actors speaking English) in the context of exploration of creative tools of audiovisual film language. After the group analysis of the scene, participants discuss re-written scenes with their supervising shooting tutors. Further treatment/script development is continued by analysis with two independent script doctors. Each team is given time for rehearsal with actors, one day of shooting and one day of editing. The session ends with an evaluation, screening and discussion of the produced scenes.

Session 3: Participants are given the opportunity to invite a DOP and two actors from their native countries to produce a scene in their native language. Focus is put on imagination and searching for specific imaging tools to create a desired tone and atmosphere of the film. The visual potential of framing and light is explored in the exercise ‹Painting with Light›. Participants follow the same process of pre-production, production and post-production of the scenes, and script/ treatment consultancy as on the 2nd session. The session ends with summary of project development and screening and discussion of the produced scenes.

EKRAN+ Follow-up session (optional): Participants to come back for the final treatment or script consultancy and setting up the directions for the advanced draft development.
