Pitching and meetings
Building on it's success over the last few years, european pitch point 2004 will again serve as a forum enabling 12 professional scriptwriters to present their ideas for screenplays intended for cinema release or TV movies, and this to a select international audience consisting of high-ranking producers and commissioning editors.
For the past four years, the event was held during the Berlin International Film Festival. All participating scriptwriters, producers and commissioning editors made important contacts and projects flourished. Half of the authors from previous years have signed contracts. Scripts picked up by producers are now moving towards production.
The material will be selected by a jury consisting of renowned film-professionals. The scriptwriters' presentation will take the form of a pitch lasting three minutes. This pitching session will be followed by individual meetings with the participating producers and commissioning editors. In addition, production information (production costs as well as co-production and financing possibilities) will be provided for each project.
Producers' participation
Producers and commissioning editors who are looking for projects may register for participation at european pitch point 2004 from the beginning of December 2003 through to the end of January 2004. If you are interested and want to be present at the Event, contact us now, and we will keep you informed on the results of the call for proposals, the Jury and other relevant information. We will then send you the registration forms.
