Interdisciplinary Film Workshop: team work from screenplay to shooting

"I work regularly within the European ‹auteur› and the American ‹studio› traditions. In my view, both traditions have reached an impasse." Slawomir Idziak

Film Spring provides an opportunity to develop alternatives through intense workshops, where directors of photography and directors can co-write the script, co-edit the film, and explore together new ways of filmmaking. This is the third instalment of Film Spring and, as in 2005 and 2006, participants will collaborate online to develop the idea and the script. In addition, in the 2007 edition participants will meet in a script workshop to finalize the script for the shooting of the 30 to 45-minute film in October. Post-production will be provided by sponsors.

You can obtain additional information on Film Spring by visiting its website at > www.filmspring.eu (from 1 February 2007).
