About the programme:
lim² | Less is More supports writers and directors in the early development of their first, second or third fiction feature film. The programme introduces development tools and methodologies to strengthen the ideation phase and advance project development.
The Online Programme supports around 50 projects and consists of one online masterclass in January and two online sessions focused on the lim² Toolbox in February 2027.
The On-site Programme supports 16 projects between March and October 2027. It consists of three one-week residential workshops in Brittany, France, a series of online meetings and development support between the workshops.
The programme concludes with lim² MEET, a tailor-made industry event connecting participants with film industry professionals from across Europe.
Participants:
Writers and directors developing a fiction feature film at an early stage. The programme is dedicated to first, second or third feature film projects.
Filmmakers with backgrounds in theatre, documentary or visual arts are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants may apply to the Online Programme, the On-site Programme, or both. Due to FOCAL’s cooperation, one seat in the On-site Programme is reserved for a Swiss writer/director.
