How can I bring out the best in my movie actors and actresses? How should I go about working with amateurs, or else divas, and how can I motivate veteran film players? How can I communicate a character's rhythm? And how can I do all this on top of meeting the diversity of technical demands and last-minute changes to the script? Both coaches, Lena Lessing and Giles Foreman, are highly experienced and qualified service providers when it comes to lending support to film directors called upon to proceed on such a highly complex mission.
The workshop will provide insight into the methodology used by the two coaches, and into a results-oriented script analysis. Professional film players and two camera teams will be joining the workshop as of the second day, and each participant will have a chance to shoot scenes of his or her own with the help of a coach. On April 7th, each participant will be granted personal feedback on his or her work.
