MEDICI is an annual training and exchange forum for decision-makers in national and international film funding bodies.

It offers a unique space for peer-to-peer exchange, sharing best practices, and developing forward-looking strategies.

As the audiovisual sector continues to change, leaders need to adapt and prepare their institutions for the future. MEDICI provides an inspiring setting for open, in-depth dialogue on the key challenges facing the film industry today.

Focus areas of MEDICI 2026 include:

  • Understanding and communicating the artistic and social value of films
  • Using impact as a driver for future film funding policies
  • New paths of connecting films with audiences
