The European Showrunner Training is a intensive training programme designed for experienced European series writers who want to work as showrunner. Through a combination of online and residential workshops, as well as one-on-one mentoring, participants refine their skills in creative leadership, production expertise, and team coordination.
The programme povides a comprehensive understanding of showrunning, covering essential aspects such as budgeting, scheduling, hiring and leading creative teams, and collaborating with industry partners. Participants gain first hand insights into the intersection of writing, producing, directing, and editing. They learn to navigate the creative and logistical complexities of high-end drama series production.
A key focus of the programme is Creative Leadership, helping participants define their own leadership style while mastering essential skills to guide and structure a series from development to production.
