Series Lab - Talents

SeriesLab-Talents is a programme for professional scriptwriters to boost their experience on drama series writing and train their skills required in a writers’ room. The programme consists of three 5-day long residential workshops in September 2023, November 2023 and early 2024, ending up with a final networking industry event during the last workshop.

The training gives the participants the opportunity to experience working in a real writers' room under the guidance of high-profile mentor and to build strong connections with other international writers.
During the training, the participants will work on a TV series project, chosen by their mentor together with the representatives of TFL Series Lab-Talents. They will follow the entire process of developing a series concept, including the mini-bible and the pilot script.
The writers will receive the screenwriting tools and creative confidence necessary to create and write dram series of their own. After being connected in their group of work, TorinoFilmLab will also create networking moments with participants from the SeriesLab programme and other international programs. By the end of the training, the participants will get the chance to introduce themselves to representatives of the TV Industry, at a networking event in early 2024.

Thanks to FOCAL’s partnership, one scriptwriter from Switzerland will be selected for the programme and will benefit from a 50% discount on the regular participation fee of Euro 1500.
