A pop up laboratory for trying out combinations of computer animation software programmes to achieve a personal means of expression

A workshop for trying out various combinations of current computer tools as a personal means of expression. The workshop leaders will resort to case studies, practical exercises and exchanges of ideas on the participants' projects, thus encouraging a combination of mediums and software programs (eg. cgi, mocap, live action, stop motion, rotoscopy and more). Special emphasis will be on CG, including practical advice on how to imbue a computer-generated world with a soul. It will be a pop up lab breaking down the barriers between various practices.
