It is the latter who first visually depicts a figure presented in a script, beginning with a simple sketch and onwards to a precise visual description. Coming up with a proposal in the form of an appropriate and original design entails shapes, rhythms, proportions, anatomy, costumes and colours.
Resorting to case studies and practical exercises, participants will have a chance to perfect themselves in the field of character design. Those who so wish are encouraged to present their ongoing projects for discussion with the rest of the participants.

Remi Farjaud
Independent designer, illustrator and 3D artist. Worked at Ubisoft as associate artistic director and character artist. His main contribution has been to the multiplayer aspect of the ASSASSIN’S CREED series, specializing in such fields as illustration, texturing, modeling and character design.
He contributes to numerous publications as an illustrator.
