How do documentary filmmakers handle the growing importance of the Internet as a platform for their work? What new dramaturgic, production-related and technical challenges does the Internet pose to story-telling as opposed to cinema and television work? What new opportunities are there?

Webdocs are still in their very early stages in Switzerland. The current financing possibilities are marginal compared with countries such as France or Canada. If part of the documentary narration is to be transferred from the cinema and from television to the Internet, the question arises: what are the artistic and material prerequisites and conditions to develop webdocs in a positive and sustained way?
