Pitch
How to best sell your story in a few written words.
Making the best of any script idea on one page, on four pages, on twelve pages, in a note of intent or in a verbal pitch, is a real craft. It is far from easy to be able to choose the right words to tell a story when you are only at the beginning of the creative process and don't really know the whole story. Or to tell this story in a confident and engaging way when facing a producer or film funder.

Yet, all writers must find the best way to sell their stories. And selling a story is not the same as telling a story. Moreover, in the bureaucratic jungle of the funding bodies, everyone requires a different format, so the author of the script ends up writing several versions according to the various application forms.

This seminar will help you understand how the written and verbal presentation of any script idea can be improved. You will learn the many ways to engage the readers or listeners in your story. In the end, you will be familiar with the different formats usually requested.

Participants will be asked to submit their feature film proposal in a specific short format in English: this material will be used as the core of the seminar.
