Press, promotion, marketing - the ways of reaching the cinema-going audience have been shifting more and more towards digital media in their numerous facets. How can distributors and exhibitors integrate the new possibilities effectively into their theatrical release strategies?
On the one hand, the seminar will deal with challenges for press agents in view of a decreasing variety of film reviews through traditional media. On the other hand, digital marketing and PR campaigns will be presented and discussed using international examples: strategy development, practical tools, creation and management of social networks, Internet platforms, word of mouth and online ‹recommendation›, costs and expenditure.
