Production Value is an intensive eight-day residential workshop focused on the scheduling and budgeting of complex European feature films and limited series. It is tailored for junior line producers, experienced production managers, first and second assistant directors, as well as producers working on ambitious film or series projects.

Participants are skilled professionals in their respective fields eager to take on new challenges. Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they learn how to navigate the demands of international film projects and gain confidence in their roles. The workshop provides training in essential software tools and offers the chance to build a lasting international network.

This unique program allows participants to develop advanced skills in planning and budgeting projects with budgets ranging from 3 million to over 20 million euros. Line producers and assistant directors are paired in teams and assigned real projects currently in development. Their mission is to create detailed shooting schedules and budgets. Throughout this process, they receive support from senior assistant directors, line producers, VFX and post-production specialists and green consultants.

Once a draft schedule and budget are completed, the producers and directors of the assigned projects join the workshop to evaluate the proposed solutions. This collaborative assessment, guided by the team of Production Value, helps producers and directors gain valuable insights into the practical implications of their projects and provides them with effective strategies to achieve their creative vision.
