Experienced and emerging filmmakers from all over the world develop their projects through peer-to-peer group work, with the support of professional script consultants.
20 projects are selected for the programme. The participants are divided into five groups, each guided by a tutor with wide experience as a script consultant. Throughout the year, the projects are developed through the enriching experience of sharing and exchanging with the other filmmakers. The programme includes one-to-one sessions with the tutors as the projects advance, masterclasses with internationally established writers/directors and meetings with industry professionals.
A final presentation of the projects during the Torino FilmLab Meeting Event (co-production forum) in November 2022 completes the training.
Due to FOCAL’s cooperation, one writer/director from Switzerland will be selected for the programme and will benefit from a 50% discount on the regular participation fee.
